Born in Middletown, NY.

After high school, Michael enlisted in the United States Army in 2013. Following his first contract, he pursued his passion for acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, graduating in 2018. He's widely recognized for his role as Charlie on the CBS series S.W.A.T. Outside of acting, Michael enjoys powerlifting, MMA, and soccer!

Awards & Achievements

  • Michael is best known for his role as Charlie Rios in the C.B.S and Netflix series S.W.A.T. He has also starred in several independent films, including Indemnity and Duped (directed by Paul Borghese), which have won awards at various film festivals.

    Awards:

    • Best Actor for his leading role in his film Bad Day.

    • In 2019, Michael wrote and directed semi-autobiographical play exploring the transition from military life to civilian life.

    • In 2022, his film Bad Day was released, screening at 11 film festivals and winning 5 awards.

    • In 2024, Lift premiered at the New York Lift-Off Film Festival.

  • Michael served in both the United States Army and Air Force. As an Army Airborne Cavalry Scout, he earned his parachutist badge with over 20 jumps. In the Air Force, he served as a weapons loader.

    • Brazilian Parachutist Wings for completing a Chinook jump mission

  • Michael trained at the American Academy of Dramatic arts in New York, earning his degree in 2018. He also holds an A.S in Kinesiology.
